3D Rendering

Dabbling in a variety of tools to be mentioned throughout. Mainly Autodesk's Maya and often Daz3D. I intend to eventually create content for the latter of the two using the former of the two.

An effective use of planning and sticking to the goal. The right most render is a frame during the anitmation with motion blur effect activated. This helps produce movement without having to attempt to render a movie and post for playing.

Here the default model of IrayBall is used. There is a sphere within a partial sphere on a stand on a surface. Each surface can be changed independant of another including texture, shininess and bump mapping to name a few. The Iray engine is a Ray Trace rendering of sorts where it fully tries to recreate how light acts in situations. The program allows the user to create custom cameras with focal length, aperature and adjust where the focus lies. I only applied the texture/shaders here and rendered them, the shaders themselves are part of the default Daz Studio 4.8 suite. I like the orange inner ball effect but it really could be anything you want it to be. Even a ball of rippling water. The left render is only about 65% complete hence the speckled look.

Here there are seven examples of various characters within Daz Studio Pro. These are all my renders and not sourced from anywhere else. It is importatnt to mention again that this is a free program.

There are many parts which can be purchased to enhance your usability of the software... i.e. not free such as additional characters, props, materials, poses that you don't want to make yourself and so on. If you are a saavy graphics user, then maybe you also can make your own stuff in Maya or Blender for immediate use in Daz Studio. It is also important to note that cahracters are designed to allow rapid posing of limbs. There are standard joint limitations which help create belivability amidst your design.

Even the free models which come with the program are powerful and can aid you in creating basic scenes. Perhaps you can make use of this fun tool for your work too!
